QUALITY CONTROL

BVSB has the capacity of producing 500 metric tons a month of compounded material. We are able to handle most of the commodity and engineering plastic except PVC.

Every production lot is monitored through our Colour Spectrometer to ensure its colour consistency and hot press machine is used in the quality control procedure to check on the material contamination and colour dispersion.

All material are blend in tumbler sizes that range from 50 kilograms to 500 kilograms. Each of our extruder line has its own on-line tumbler. This process minimizes contamination and improves cycle time.
We conduct quality control according to the Standard Operating procedure (S.O.P) in order to meet customer’s stringent requirements. To provide our valued customer a better service, we have invested in the equipments below to ensure that all products produced will have no compromise in quality. And, all the testing equipment operating procedures are complied with ISO / ASTM standard.

	Spectrometer To check color of plastic sample electronically by reading the L.a.b value, and to ensure color consistency during real time production.
	Tensile Tester To Conduct Tensile Strength at Yield and Elongation Test according to ISO / ASTM D638.
	3-Point Bending Tester To Conduct Flexural Strength and Flexural Modulus Test according to ISO / ASTM D790.
	Universal Tester Software This is comprehensive dedicated software for tensile test and 3-point bending test application.
	Super Daylight Due to the different light source, illumination, it is not easily to get a uniform environment. And, the user maybe makes a mistake during color comparison. Therefore this machine is specially designed to offer the standard & objective illumination in order to accurately facilitate color control and comparison.
	Hot Press Machine To Check contamination and color dispersion of plastic material during real time production.
	Melt Flow Indexer & Density Balance Melt flow index is a measure of the ease of flow of the melt of a thermoplastic polymer. The MFI/MVR/MFR/MI test is conduct according to ASTM D1238 and ISO 1133.
	Digital Izod Impact Tester To conduct the impact-resistance of specimen of various materials which endured the impact in a certain angle and weight to assess its toughness according to ASTM D256 and ISO standard.
	V-notch Cutter This machine is used for cutting the specimen of impact test. Cut a V notch subjected to specified criterion to serve as the specimens for impact testing.
